I've watched it a few times, and it should have been a no-call. Zion was not fouled on the play.
People always see the bad calls that go against their team, and they ignore the bad calls that work in favor of their team.

They had to make a call when Thompson hit the floor, and it wasn't a charge, soooooo......
There were certainly bad calls both ways, and there will always be bad calls, but that game was brutal.
Now, that Simmons play is worse than most. The league should be reviewing it and issue a flagrant.

Refs honestly should be fined or suspended for calling games like that.
It’s one thing to make yourself into an Onion article because you channel your ego through your whistle, it’s another when your shitty officiating not only misses the sort of dangerous fouls that you are specifically tasked with trying to deter for player safety, but then you use a spout of anger after said player was knocked unconscious to T them up for daring to voice some emotion over your shitty job performance.
