We all have been screaming how its a three man draft. Now we have 38420987509278930927 Draft picks which is oddly ironic given this franchise.

Someone explain to me like I am 5 why this is a good trade?

If it’s a three man draft what good is pick four? Now you have money to sign free agents and can take two shots at the same tier level talent. 2 shots is >1

We got rid of one of the worst players in franchise history, opened up 13 million in space, got another 1st round pick, essentially 3 high 2nds

For moving down 4 spots, a very late 2nd and another undisclosed 2nd.

You just said it yourself. It’s a 3 man draft. We got assets to move from 4 to 8 plus cleared cap space.

Because no one wants to take Garland at 4.

The Lakers spent the last 3 weeks trying to trade #4. We've spent the last week trying to trade it. Despite the spin of the last 24 hours, there is no player in this draft worth the pick

This is where Langdon will make his money.

Except all for Atlanta obviously. If Garland becomes the player many think he will be, this will haunt us.

Garland isn't going to Atlanta. The trade makes a lot of sense, Brooke Lopez or Al Horford is going to be the main priorities in free agency. Then they'll probably draft Can Reddish at 8 and Bol Boo at 17.

We are in the "this GM is a mega genius" stage with Griffin right now.

He could do anything and we'd be like WHOA THIS GUYS INCREDIBLE
