before season i enjoyed a thread in which we all predicted zion numbers.

actual = 23.6 6.8 3.x

i went for around 10 boards and was immediately corrected based on historical rookies.

i was high on boards, but his minutes were limited.

how did you do?

future is bright.
hopefully he gets a new trainer asap, a new cook, and a shooting instructor asap.

edit to correct low to high.

I would have never guessed that many points. He was crushing it.

I remember the thread, just not what I predicted. I cant imagine I predicted him to have over 20ppg though.

yes. comparisons to all time great rookies were in the 17 and 7 range.

morant did 17 and 7 assists.
in range of similar all star pg rookies.

zion has exceeded expectations.

Just wait. He’s getting into better shape right now and you are going to see a dribble drive element added to his nba game

this morning saw adam silver assert it aint over yet.

maybe playoffs into july.

the missing piece is testing. you can do games without fans.
owners lose money. tv would be better viewership than usual.

rory mcilroy just asked for testing of golfers(&implication bag men/tv people).

looks like trumps claim that if "you wanna be tested you can be tested" will soon be tested.

It fricking sucks that he was finally starting to round into regular season shape and the season got cancelled. Rudy Gobert needs to suck a dozen AIDS dicks.

Do we have any idea what the team is doing now? Are they practicing regularly? Simulated games?

i heard on get up! that the whole association has been told to go home and stay home.

minimize spread.

if i were an owner i would pay for a retreat location.
controlled access.
tested staff.
massage.
trainer.
bball courts.

be prepared if/when season ramps up.

pay them all their salaries until silver says no season.

the very first sentence in your post mentions a thread...

I was asking if you had a link to the thread because I wanted to see what I had his stat line as.

i have no idea how to search old td threads.

go for it. someone actually posted the all time greats rookie years in the thread.

in the absence of games it would be better than watching covid19 news.
