15,358 posted attendance and the drop was may 90% of that. Good crowd size all things considered.

Gyno disagrees, so you know this is right.

The crowd was into it in that they booed at bullcalls, etc.

I was more than happy.

303 was one of the top sections.

I expect Friday to be better. We shall see.

I wouldn't expect the paid attendance to the home opener to be any less than 15k. 90% of that? C'mon dude. The top rows to all of the upper bowl were unfilled. Some upper sections were 25% filled. There was a section in the lower bowl corner that was almost completely empty (to the right of 303).

Also known as "watching the game". They weren't into it from an emotion and crowd noise standpoint. Not going off games from the past 5 years.

I also expect Friday to be better. Tonight was what it was.

Many inaccuracies with a hint of facts to throw off the hounds.

Not working.

Sell it elsewhere, or go stalk some more.

I guess the crowd looked better to me because I didn't really look up at the upper deck. I still feel that it was more packed than any homegame I've been to in a while.

It wasn't "bad". Just your typical Hornet's crowd. I just expected more for opening night with a new team full of promise.

Yeah I would've liked to see more people but it'll take a while to build up the fanbase.

I have to agree with you. The upper half of the 300s was almost completely empty. I'd be surprised if there were more than 12000 asses in the seats.

I was in 105, that section was to the right of us and it was a ghost town there.

Like a t-shirt! I did win the text to win thing, but didn't notice the text to pick up my prize by the 4th quarter. Does anyone even know what it is?

Well the two swaths of the club level that were relatively empty during the first half was a little strange. Like those specific ticketholders were attending the same party or had been abducted by aliens. People filled them in later, though.

I've been to every opening night and I've seen better opening night crowds, but I'm not that surprised with this one being on a Halloween night and a Wednesday.

The crowd did seem to get into it in the 4th. In fact, I thought it was a great atmosphere.

It was loud, especially since it wasn't at capacity. I cannot count to 15,000 but it sure didn't seem like there was that many peeps there. The upper sections were nowhere near full that is for sure. Still more people than were attending on average last year. Halloween had to play a part.

The game was very exciting in the first quarter and almost all of the 2nd half. Lots of hustle, dunks, and good basketball. If only Genral Greavis was a better passer...
