I guess I don't get what he means by "wait".

If you are changing the coach, changing starters and changing bench players, then that's not really waiting...

He means don't sell low because you feel desperate, because Davis is young enough to not feel desperate. There's no reason to give up another pick to move Gordon this season for instance.

Both but it depends on what we do with Tyreke. If we get Tyreke's cap space back that puts us $7 million under the cap next offseason, $10 if you don't bring Rivers back. Do you essentially try and swap out Tyreke for a Gerald Green, or do you stretch Gordon, drop Rivers and have $20 million to play with and go after a Jimmy Butler?

On what cap number are you basing that?

Eta: Are you assuming cap smoothing?

Id rather Green + depth under the current idiot, but a bigger name under a better regime. I think a good coach can make meh players serviceable for 10-15 a night.

No smoothing, just the pre TV money projection of $67 million.

Asik $12
Jrue $10.5
Ryno $8.5
AD $7
Gordon Stretch $5.1
7 Min Roster Holds $3.5
Total $46.6 Million
