I don't hate Marcus at all. The only thing pathetic is your constant meltdowns to try to seem like a superfan.

that has nothing to do with the expectations being out of control.

He gets so much love because people realize he is the best option we have at the position! To close the game it should have been Paul, West, Okafor, Belly (he had a good game), and Thornton. Not Ariza and JACK

fwiw, I love Marcus but the love he gets here is out of control. He's a good bench player but I don't think he's starting caliber. Neither is Marco however.

Neither is Ariza, or Willie Green, or Jarrett Jack...I'm sensing a trend.

Of those 5, I would much rather have MT on the court when we need a bucket.

I just think a couple morons give the "thornton should get more playing time" side a bad rep

This whole stupid debate has been framed as you either love/hate Thornton when it really was about whether you were willing to give a new coach more than 6 games to give his way a try. I'm ready for it to be over, and frankly I'm starting to lose a bit of interest in the team. I think it's clear that where this team finishes doesn't hang on Monty but on Demps. They need more talent.

I'm not losing interest in the team , but I've lost interest discussing it on this board. In the holiday season my time is precious...and your thought about how the team finishes is $$$$$

Also please describe my "meltdowns" because I react the same way after a close hornets loss as an Astros, or LSU loss. I guess I just want to stick out on the rant as well

Yeah, you could also see that I get really excited when Marcus is having a good game because I'm a fan of his. I like watching Louisiana boys shine. Your lame gay soccer jokes does show that you are a mental midget though. Uh Uh Uh can't think of an insult... UR GAY

you had an equally lame and stupid joke. I havent seen a single one of your posts saying anything positive about Thornton. Everything you post about Thornton involves taking shots at people who think he deserves more playing time (which is the entire purpose of this thread)

Not enough, I enjoy watching him play when he's unselfish like he was tonight, most of the time. I could understand him not getting more minutes if there were actually better players ahead of him. Ariza is not as good as Marcus Thornton, neither is Green, and Marco is probably the same. Thornton may have an off night, but he'll remain active getting rebounds. Ariza averages what, 8 points a game playing how many minutes?
