How do we matchup with Portland tomorrow? Predictions?

I know Portland is a tough place to play but we're playing our best ball and Portland has nobody who can contain ad. Can we really go up there and shock them they're 8-9 and not as unbeatable as many thought they would be at home

I agree, I think we're a bad matchup for them. We have multiple decent guard defenders and they have no good answer for AD defensively or even on offense to make him put up a ton of defensive effort.

The Pels are definitely a bad matchup for Portland. Jrue and Moore can do a decent job at defending Lillard and McCollum and those should be the only real threats offensively from Portland. Portland has been pretty dreadful defensively this season, and I don't see them slowing down AD or Jrue.

pels haven't won in Portland in a while, and are 3-9 vs POR since the name change
that being said Portlands defense is league worst and have nothing for Davis as the others have noted. aminu is still out for blazers
this would be a huge confidence boost if they can go all the way up there and win. Typically playing at Portland is at the end of a west coast trip for most teams and they definitely benefit from that. This one is there for the taking

Yeah, Portland is reeling right now and this could be huge for the Pelicans. You still have to play it one game at a time, but I'm hoping they can take the momentum of a 7 game winning streak into the game against the Clippers where Tyreke might be back. If you can somehow make that one 8 in a row, who knows how long the streak will run?

AD finna eat.
A lot of CJ McCollum trade talk out here. However he has a poison pill worked into his contract if he is dealt during this season. At this rate, I wouldn't mind a Noel trade if it doesn't cost CJ or Lillard, and to some extent, Harkless or Aminu.

Fan favorite. One of the more beloved Blazers since the Jail Blazer era. Talked to a lot of people who liked him more than everyone else outside of Lillard and Lamarcus (the womenz loved Batum equally much).
Miss his offensive rebounding and team rebounding. He'd be an excellent 90 NBA style C. With all the switching in today's NBA, it exposes his slow lateral movement. My only gripe about him.

I'll be at the game. Hopefully we can show up and take the Blazers down. Would be fun being the only Pelicans fans in the moda center talking trash lol
