I'd take him. But we'd probably have to give up too much. Maybe if we dont like our draft position we can make a trade for him on draft day that involves our first round pick.

I say this not as a bitter Hornets fan that wishes all bad things to happen to the Clippers, but as someone who has watched the NBA for years:

The Clippers are coached by Vinny Del Negro, they have no chance to win a title.

Bledsoe is their biggest expendable trade piece with Willie Green there and Billlups impending return. The Clips front court depth is almost non existent.

Lopez, Smith would be very enticing to the Clips. If they go for it all, you never know.

I honestly don't see CP leaving LA.

I would love to get Bledsoe, but what would we have to give up?

I'm sure we'll have to give any 3 of Vasquez, Smith, Aminu, Lopez, and our 1st for him, while taking back a bad contract like C. Butler (2 years, 16 or so Mil left)

I'll pass

I sincerely doubt we'd give up anywhere near that much for him.

What do you think the Clippers will want then?

I think they would request something like Lopez, Aminu, and a Top-3 Protected 1st

Crazy. He's worth what we gave up for Bayless/Jack. A top 7 protected 1st.

Doubt the trade butler. Bledsoe/odom for three of the above mentioned, no pick imo

Hindsight is, of course, 20/20.

But I never understood why Aminu was a part of the CP3 deal and not Bledsoe.

Bledsoe was hurt at the time, so that might have been the reasoning?

The Power of Stern should have stuck up for the Hornets

From what I remember, the Clippers refused to give up both him and Gordon. They basically told us to pick between either Bledsoe and Gordon

They refused to give up both Gordon and Bledsoe. It was one or the other. Gordon was the choice, and the correct choice in my opinion.

Not trading any lottery pick for Bledsoe. He is wildly inconsistent. He plays well when the game is out of reach. Watch the Clips when there in a dog fight with another team. Dude is nowhere to be found.

Don't get wrong. I'd love to have him on the team though. But, we better be getting more in return than just him if the plan is to give up a first rounder. Clips better find third team bc they don't have much else to offer.

Which was not even a legit choice.

I've really never gotten the fascination with Bledsoe. He's definitely never shown he could run a team as a pg. He comes in during garbage time, after CP3 does the heavy lifting, and puts up ok numbers. He's able to come in for 15-20 minutes per game, with no real responsibilities, and play balls to the wall.
