I just read your music thread and have no idea what the hell you are talking about. I guess I am not the intended audience

i dont want to get into the argument cause its pointless now and i dont want to ruin our bond but if we dont win the lottery having the worst record possible is still to our benefit actually more so than if we win it. thats all i'm saying about it for the sake of me kinda liking you guys.

I have no problems with people being ok with losses after the fact.

but MinnesotaDoucher was posting Clippers pictures and openly rooting against NO. No room for that attitude, IMO

I wanted the Hornets to lose tonight and I was happy when they did. I don't feel bad that I feel that way. I root for what's best for the organization. The Hornets had nothing to gain by winning tonight or in any of their next two games. The best part of the lottery is that you don't know what's going to happen, fact is that if you are 3rd worst you have a better shot than if you're 4th or 5th. So I root for us to be 3rd rather than 4th. If we need the other team to beat us for that to happen, than we win by losing. I rooted for the Saints to lose in 2005 and I rooted for the Hornets to lose the year before we got CP3. I am rooting for what we could get in return rather than a meaningless W in a disasterous season.
I understand why people won't agree with this and will always root for a W. But that excitement really only lasts for a day or two. We need prolonged success and we need the highest draft picks possible in here to reach that success

The "Suck for Luck" mentality is rightfully derided, looked down upon and laughed at by the sports world. It merely is cynicism, as well as a lack of self-worth, disguised as pragmatism. Thank you. Thank you very much.
