He has been great for them. I hope he stays healthy, but I don't think he will.

Never wanted to be here so he acted like a bitch, glad he's gone.

He didn't want to be here, our record probably wouldn't be any different if he was still here and their offense is suited for his type of play. Stop thinking about it and move on.

He made his time 100% more difficult here than it ever should been then he has nerve to say it was the team fault frick that guy. I guess if you bitch and moaned and fought with everyone day one you'll have a shitty experience and you've been made of glass since high school don't blame that on us.

I don't get why this douche is still hating on our organization. I mean FFS you got what you wanted, you got out of New Orleans. Just STFU already

lol i actually agree with everything he said. I love the pelicans and rarely miss a game but the franchise is a joke and was an even bigger joke then

Son he couldn't get to the line here ... couldn't create a shot. Didn't shoot all that great. Injured all the time. Homeboy needs to stay in his lane.

I didn't read anything particularly scathing about New Orleans. Did I miss something?

We don't have to like the things he said - that doesn't make them not true.

Sons, how much does EG's comments hurt the future of the organization? Players all talk amongst each other and everything, just don't think these comments should have been made no matter if you have a beef with the franchise

He's comments means nothing everyone knew he never wanted to play here.

His comments are irrelevant. But organizational changes very clearly need to be made. If not then the dumpster fire will rage even hotter.

it doesnt change much- the Pels are a lower tier organization...go read Andrew Sharp on NBA Unicorns today- the main portion of his AD blurb is that no one watches the Pels; AD is an urban legend, like a player from before League Pass and cable tv

Gordon was never happy in NO, so i imagine he's been saying unflattering things (some fair, some not) for a while now. interesting that he's going public like this. if these are things he'll let get into the paper, what's he saying off the record to friends, players, people around the league?

When Gordon's HOU contract runs up, he will have made close to $125 mil in his career. That is just mind boggling to me.

This. Lots of sour grapes in this thread. The guy did plenty to try to recover his image here after the Phoenix debacle and the worst thing he said about New Orleans in that entire article was "It was a rough time in New Orleans." It sucks how things happened but the intense hate for the guy from our fanbase is pretty sad.
