quote:Thats true, but I don't think that has much to do with Jackson. Players' eyes get huge when Frank comes in the game. Notice how every time he comes into any game, guards immediately attack him or take him to the block. Gentry sees something in his defense that no opponent actually sees, or respects.
Gentry has always been a fan of Frank as a defensive spark for whatever reason. To be honest, you can’t complain too much since the defense improved a bit in the second quarter

My guess is that Bog doesn't score 24 points in the 2nd half, and they don't shot 62% from 3 in the 2nd half.
I mean if u leave nba players open from three they’re gonna shoot at a high clip

2 things here:
1. Why are we not getting guys like BI and Jrue more minutes? This is essentially playoff ball, they need to be at or near 40 minutes
2. By the same token, why are we not tightening up our rotation? I have zero use for Frank Jackson and Melli doesn't need minutes if he can't hit a shot either. Hayes/Hart/Redick off the bench is all we need, and we can sprinkle in Melli but if he's afraid to shoot or can't hit, then fade him out for the 2nd half.
But Hart 11 minutes and Redick 9 while Frank Jackson got 12....why?

Frank Jackson is 13 of his last 49 shots dating back to February 13th

The only thing I can figure is first game of a back to back

I fully expect Al to roll out a Favors/Jackson/Moore/JJ/Melli line-up at some point this half
I think he just picks names out of a hat

I think we tighten up the rotations in the second half. Zion and Zo will play more minutes.
We're in a good spot, all things considering.
