All right, we are currently tied for third worst record with Sacramento. They play the Lakers on Thursday and we play Houston on Thursday.
Cleveland is one game behind and they play Washington and Chicago. Hopefully they beat Washington tonight.
Washington has secured the second worst record all to themselves. Possible outcomes for us are that we end up with the third worst record (either on our own, tied for the third worst record or in a three way tie for the third worst record) up to having a tie for the fifth worst record with either New Jersey or Toronto.
Minn is finally locked in and will have the tenth worst record.
Games to watch:
Cleveland vs. Washington on Wed, Apr 25 Tank on Tank Watch
Sacramento vs LAL on Thu, Apr 26
New Orleans @ Houston on Thu, Apr 26
New Jersey @ Toronto on Thu, Apr 26 Tank on Tank Watch

How does a tie for 3rd most tanked team in the NBA work? Head to head matchup records?

split odds. say there are 2 tied. they just add up 3rd and 4th odds and split them.

so we would still have better odds at #1 than Sacramento because of the Minny pick?

Well, with Cleveland's tankfest extraviganza last night, we are in a three way tie with Cleveland and Sacramento.
Tonight's games which will have an impact on our standing:
New Orleans at Houston
LAL at Sacramento
Cleveland at Chicago
New Jersey at Toronto
We can still get the third worst record all to ourselves, but it's not likely. Worst we can do is tie for fifth worst record.

Good news is Lakers aren't playing Kobe and can't move up in playoff positioning.
Same with Chicago and Rose.
Same with Chicago and Rose.

Now on to the lottery and draft parties!

Minnisota Timberwolves' end up at 26-40 which is the 10th worst record and end up with a 1.1% chance of the first pick in the NBA lottery.

Odds are about 50-50 that we get a top-3 pick. Only about 10% chance that we fall to #6. We're going to have the opportunity to get a very good player.
