Hi everyone. Sorry I missed the party.
I'm down for whatever. I'll make my way into NOLA if need be, or I'll hang in BR. whatever is best. We can also carpool from BR to NOLA if y'all want...because that won't be awkward at all.

on the broadcast last night, i'm pretty sure they said the game vs. the Warriors won't be televised.
wtf?
just imagine if we were thick into a playoff spot battle and they didn't televise this game...
or even better, imagine if this was the most important game to tank all year and they didn't televise it.

I'm pretty sure that before the season began it was going to be the one game CST didn't cover. since I don't have cable, i watch every game on first row anyway, so ill probably just do that

There's no HT north draft party right? Just the official hornets one?

Yeah, it makes sense to me. Plus I hear they giveaway stuff and players are there.

Getting close to the end of the season.
Our record:
Best we can do is 23-43. Worst we can do is 20-46. We are locked in anywhere from the second worst record to the ninth worst record.
Best we can do is tie for second worst record, but Washington plays Charlotte, so that's not likely. So second worst record is out.
We are one game behind Sacramento and two behind Cleveland.
I think we go 2-1.
I think Sacramento goes 1-3.
I think Cleveland goes 1-4.
That would put us at 22-44, Cleveland at 21-45 and Sacramento at 21-45.
Minn Pick:
The best Minn can do is 28-38, the worst they can do is 26-40. They are locked in between the eighth worst record and eleventh worst record. Detroit would have to win out for Minn to tie for the ninth worst spot.
Important upcoming games:
Golden State at Minn on April 22.
Detroit at Indiana on April 23.
Hornets at Golden State on April 24.
Philadelphia at Detroit on April 26.
Upsets we need:
Sacramento to beat Oklahoma City or the Lakers,
Portland to beat Memphis, San Antonio or Utah, and
Detroit to beat Philly AND Indiana.

No problem. I know I need to keep the facts straight for all the tank vs. non-tank arguments.
Hmmmmmmmmmm... When you say NOLA, do you really mean Kenner?

looks like we're locked in at the 3rd/4th worst record and Minny is locked in at 10

Best we can do is 22-44. Worst we can do is 20-46. Still have the potential to tie for second worst record (Need Cleveland to upset Miami and Memphis and beat Washington) We still have the potential to tie for sixth worst record.
Minn can't do better than the tenth worst record. Farthest they can fall is a tie for the ninth worst record, but Detroit would have to beat Indiana and Philly.
Sacramento's last two games aren't easy ones to win. Hopefully LA rests their players the last game. If they lose these two games, and we beat either Houston or Golden State, we tie for third worst record. If we beat both, we move into fourth worst record.
Charlotte is on the verge of the worst win percentage in NBA history. They have games left with Washington, Orlando and the Knicks. This is a shortened season, but the previous worst record is held by the 1973 Philadelphia 76ers who went 9-73 with a win percentage of .110. If the bobcats lose the remaining three games, they will be 7-59 with a win percentage of .106.

thanks for the update Sun...appreciate the work in figuring out all the possibilities.
I don't see too many chages from here out unless we win one and get into a tie situation with the Cavs & Kings. Minny looks relatively locked in after the win over Detroit.
