Meh. I'll care if he's not going full speed in 2-3 weeks.

We said this all last year.

And the year before.

If Gordon is going to clown around again, it makes the 2 lottery pick trade highly questionable.

What does that have to do with Gordon? You're reaching there.

The trade puts us in a win now mode, we aren't winning now without a healthy and playing up to his capabilities Eric Gordon.

That trade would have been made whether or not Gordon was part of roster. We are building around Davis NOT Gordon.

If you think the team is putting all their marbles into Gordon after seeing how unreliable he was the past couple of years, they'd be nothing short of stupid. Thankfully, they aren't and they are smart enough to know who the franchise is.

This team can easily win 30 or so games without Gordon. Maybe not enough for the playoffs but enough to trivialize next year's lottery pick (keep in mind it's still top 3, maybe 5, protected).

i would be so sad if we won only 30 games, with or without him.

We are definitely winning at least 42 games. Anthony Davis has bulked up and improved. He is getting more minutes this year, monty isn't holding back. Ryno is gonna be shooting 3s like usual. Jrue is gonna be lobbing up alley hoops to davis, Aminu, and maybe even evans. I see Aminu improving immensely. The only question is at center, whether we are starting jason smith, greg Steisma, or are we going for a stretch four with davis at center.

He has been perpetually recovering from surgery since Spring 2012. The initial injury was before that.

You can choose to focus on the most recent one if you want, but I'll look at how much time he's spent under some sort of restriction, impediment, or excuse.

So, no, I meant 1.5 years.

Gordon being so injured lead to sucking just enough to land Anthony Davis. Trading for Gordon was a success in my book. Now resigning Gordon...I think most of us have already passed the Denial and Anger stages.
