I would trade EG for #5. I can easily see Burke falling to #6 with all the young PGs ahead of us in the draft. Orlando could snag him at #2 though.

#5 could be Oladipo/Porter/Bennett/McLemore

Suns would give us #5 for EG.

We would suck next year but be in the running for Andrew Wiggins.

I'm tired of sucking. I'm ready to win some games.

So you would rather us suck with EG and his "injured" knee? We need to make moves quick while we have AD

Then we could trade Ryno, Lopez, and some other solid players for future picks, suck another year, and get a high pick in the 2015 draft.

I wouldn't be against the idea (EG for Oladipo) if we were a big FA destination. We're not going to find enough good players to make use of THAT much cap space. Completely against tanking for a high pick in 2014.

One player in this draft won't make us good. We need help and this seems like the most logical way to build a team. OKC did it.

frick this shite. will not happen. #5 will fetch oladipo or len. then we flip #6.
could easily end up a playoff contender after free agency

Give a max to pek
Rivers/Gv
Dipo
Bennett
AD
Pek

Sign whoever da fuq else. Trade bennett if he isn't doing well at sf and take on bad contracts if we have to. I don't think there eill be that many teams fighting over pek

Jeezus H. Kreist.

It's become amusing how predictable some of this crap is. So . . . just for a casual fan who clearly doesn't understand long term strategy and the intricacies of the NBA . . . what should our target be for putting a competitive team on the court? Maybe, 2018-20? I mean, I don't want to rush things, so lemme know.

Why are you not an NBA GM with your magic crystal ball that tells you this?

I almost hope we pass on him and he sucks arse like Xavier Henry. You'd swear a guy projected to go in the middle of the lottery of one of the weakest draft classes ever was a young Dwyane Wade with how much some people suck him off.

?AD isn't there yet. With this lineup I think we'd be a solid core and easily in the playoffs after next season. shite takes time, being young is a good thing. It gives us a lot of chances to win a championship.

To compare this team to the grizzlies,
Pek=gasol
Ad> randolph defense and offense
Bennett>>> prince offense < prince defense and gives us some randolph toughness at rim
Dipo> allen
I think rivers can be comparable to conley

If you want to trade for average players we can be a flash in the pan and back to mediocrity. If we assess talent well and are cautious with who we add and what cap space we use for the next years, we can compete for a championship for the next decade.

Or we can add players who will come and go and eventually have no insentive for AD to stay.

Bennett can't play the 3.
