Suns 2pts 1/4 fgs 10 mins (Booker schooled him)
Jazz 0 pts 0/2 fg 17 mins
Thunder 5pts in garbage time 2/4 fgs 17 mins
Bucks 0 pts 0/1 fgs 18 mins
Celtics 0 pts 0/0 fgs 14 mins

This is very concerning considering he is a 1st round pick.

He looks so hesistant and to the point scared to shoot the ball. Even on fast breaks he is always looking to pass or just wait for his teammates every time. A couple of times he did go to the goal he has either missed or had his shot blocked.

This has been more than just the five games listed and more of a synopsis of the season but I don't see improvement. His minutes need to go elsewhere and send him but to the G league for more experience especially if you plan on keeping him on the team.

On the other end Naji shoots too much and is another story in itself.

Dyson’s value has nothing to do with points. His defense is elite NBA defense. At 20 years old. It’s actually unreal how good he is at defending nba players.

Jose should get those minutes. He is also a disrupter, but can actually run an offense.

All this is correct but you have to add how bad he is at offense as a NBA rotation player as well. Its a weird conundrum.

Is it just me or I feel like Jose just hasn’t been an impact rotation player this year when hes played. I feel more often thsn not, teams take advantage of his size. Not exactly sure if Jose is the answer.

You are right, but I don’t think he has had a chance to get his footing since he came back. I want to see him return to the player he was two years ago.

Maybe or teams have just got film on Jose and figured him out.

It does if he can't score points.

His on/off numbers are elite for the 3rd year in a row now.

Career best +10 net when on court and +7.7 on/off. Both of those are 2nd best on the team.

So this season 2nd best on/off, last season 3rd best, rookie season best on/off. He's played 2600 minutes, that's way too many for it to be a coincidence.

All that dudes does is win his minutes by a wide margin, 3 straight years now.

He should be in the rotation.

Just curious do you know what Naji’s are?

+7.4 on/off, 3rd best on the team.

Naji has had a negative on/off in each of his 1st 3 seasons.

So I'd take the outlier with a bit of a grain of salt.

Im just going to be real I’m not sure either need to be in lineup but I wouldn’t mind Jose. Willie has just completely fricked up the rotation. We’re struggling from 3 and if Matt Ryan starts getting DNPs because of Naji- I swear man that’s ridiculous.

He has to add SOMETHING on the offensive end though. He is worse on offense than Thybulle has been in his career so far.

Doc stopped playing Thybulle in Philly and he got traded. Seems like Dyson is headed down the same path.

Dyson seemed to be improving on offense, then lost confidence again. He is currently in full Ben Simmons mode, it makes him unplayable.

The fact that Willie keeps playing him despite his horrible offense but benches Hawkins for his defense and sends him to the gleague- explains everything about Willie. Dyson needs to be benched to understand his lack offense is detrimental to this team, instead he thinks its fine cause hes in the rotation.

Dyson has value - it's basically playing when Herb is resting or when we have 3 other guys on the court that can shoot. Thats it and Willy doesn't do that.

The bigger issue is Trey. Everyone has blinders on though.

I still want to see a lineup of Dyson, Herb, Trey, hawk and Zion

Hes in a slump. It happens to the best of shooters- its hurting us though immensely.

Shooting is all Trey has. Plus he’s really tall which is good. But he actually kinda sucks on defense. And he is really terrible when he dribbles.
