I hate Broussard with a passion but he also seems to be in the know about these things.

So why is Broussard reporting it then?
Shut the frick up Broussard, especially if you ever want to enjoy another Hand Grenade, Beignet or Yakamein in this city ever again.

I think we're in pretty unprecedented territory here. Do you think if Stern tells Sterling no that Sterling will just walk away? I don't. Like I said before, Stern has made Sterling a ton of money and knows where the bodies are buried. There is a franchise to sell for $40 million more than the NBA bought it for, and the press is already saying Stern screwed the Hornets out of a better deal if Gordon and the pick aren't included. He doesn't want another shite storm brewing that will get brought up again when the team is sold and again on draft night. If anyone's going to get screwed here it will probably be the Clippers.

It's certainly a win win trade, I was just talking from the perspective of who had the leverage.

Clippers probably are including Gordon. They are going to overpay for Jordan. Then Griffin and Paul will want new contracts eventually, they won't have the cap space to pay everybody

I understand, but I'm not going to feel bad for the Clippers for having one of the most exciting and gifted big men in the game and the best ball handler and game manager in the NBA.
And in all honesty, more power to the Clips for trying to compete here...they definitely change their franchise if they land Paul.

No EG, and I hate this deal.
EG in and it looks decent.

Just from the Clippers perspective, why WOULDN'T they get rid of Gordon?
because he's good, and why give up a good player on a rookie deal if you don't have to. if it becomes inevitable that they have to lose him, he can be flipped for other assets.

CP3 can do something Gordon can't with the Clippers, put butts in the seat and sell more merchandise. LAC will no longer be have to be the punching bag

I believe Griffin does this well enough.

RealGM is basically like Rotoworld, they just regurgitate other's stories.
