Not even playing and still cost his team a technical.

I'm a Lakers fan but also a realist. Lakers still need one more premium piece.
I think the Pelicans can beat the Warriors with one more minor piece. Another homerun under the radar trade at the trade deadline will allow the Pelicans to challenge the warriors. I'm hoping for one more 3vand D wing player.

I rejoiced the moment we signed Randle and then Payton soon after. Not only because it meant the Brow and Boogie "era" was over but it seemed Demps finally woke the f up.

The two guys who all the experts were saying we backslid by not retaining have gotten kicked out or suspended in more games than the Pels have currently played

He is an extremely talented player, but the consistent attitude, whining and lack of effort on the back end make it tough to build a championship team around him. I don’t think the Warriors will suffer as he is obviously better than McGee - but this is a one year gimme for Cousins while rehabbing his injury so it won’t last long either way.

I actually like Elfrid a little better than Rondo right now to be honest. No doubt Rondo has the court vision and experience over him, but Payton just looks more aggressive on the offensive end and gives a little more effort defensively. Oh and he has more tread on the tires, wouldn’t mind seeing him signed to a longer deal.
I hated seeing Rondo pass on wide open 3’s night in and night out. He was pretty smooth driving to the hoop but Payton looks more like Jrue than Rondo on the drives and I think we all love that aggressiveness most of the time!

Yup. I think both Elfrid and Julius are better fits for us.
