Could it be as easy as both stars having to carry the team while the other is out

That’s causing these injuries. Maybe at some point they will both balance each other out and get injured less due to both being on the floor and not having to do too much.

But I’ll wait

I noticed Zion really pushing before his injury. You could see him straining a lot. Nothing was easy, he had to be the entire offense. It’s clearly part of it. I blame Willie and training staff more for this though. He should have balanced this offense with BI out. Even if you lose more games you can’t over-exert Zion like that.

Yep - Zion put so many games on his shoulders right before his injury.

Now, he is a young, professional athlete and missed time history is not on his side....but I think it's a factor for sure.

Going 1 on 4 is super healthy, right?

We have to load manage Zion in future seasons. I understand it sucks but it’s infinitely better than having him miss half the season

This is why we HAVE to upgrade Herb. I know he’s a great defender, but nobody guards him on offense which makes everyone else have to work that much harder.

Upgrade Herb’s spot with another shooter that teams can’t leave that plays good defense (we may have just traded for that type of guy), and you will see things be alot easier on offense. Even Val doesn’t get left wide open on 3’s that often.
