Cut all of them and sign Dwight Howard. Imo.

Aren't you from New Orleans, but you're a Rockets fan?

Okay. I'll give you that, but J.R. had more mpg over the regular season and couldn't put up significantly better numbers.

I don't think J.R. is a bad player, he's just not the kind of player this teams wants or needs. We can get similar/better production out of guys out there who also play D and don't have a HUGE ego. We NEED an upgrade at the 2. Let's get someone who is a big upgrade.

The people begging for J.R. remind me of the Thornton homers who think just because he can shoot you to a win means he will. Thornton was crucial in a lot of games for us, but he also shot us (and the kings) out of games. I just don't see him as a 1st or 2nd option. He's like Artest. If he gets hot, feed it to him and let him drop bombs, but if you're counting on him to hit 15+ a night it's just not going to work imo.

i would take J.R. Smith over Marco any day. don't get me wrong, i like Marco but he froze up against LA. we need some swagger on this damn team, not to mention some athleticism at the 2 guard. Smith gets to the foul line a hell of a lot more than Marco too.

JR Smith is worthless. Were none of you around his first tour here?

BTW the Hornets had a shoot first guard and we all know where that went so JR Smith is not a fit with this team

Earl Smith did that in 13 fewer minutes averaged per game, btw.

Also, Earl shot 42.9% from 3 land.

Marco shot 30.8%.
