I've seen Dirk and Kaman in pics together. so I think they'll enjoy the opportunity to play on the same team. Geez you guys are scary fast.

I think Haywood may be getting amnestied soon, but I agree the Kaman signing should take them out of the running for Brand.

I think he will get amnesty in another year or two when Dallas needs the cap space.
No point in doing it this year when you can just keep the underachieving guy around at the same price.

Enjoyed having him last year. Dudes a character. But yea, this relationship has been doomed for a while now. Glad to see Cuban finally make his big offseason splash by signing all star center, Chris Kaman. Hahaha.

Seems Cuban is still trying to save cap space for the 2013 free agent class. I'm surprised Kaman couldn't get more than a 1yr deal from another team. Hell Lopez just got a max 4 yr 61mil deal from Nets.

Kaman's over 30 with a lengthy injury history.
Lopez is young and his only injury, on his foot, wasn't considered a long-term issue AFAIK. On top of that, he was going to get paid by the Bobcats or Blazers if the Nets didn't do it.
