Oak is underrated imo
Maybe a little...but I don't think he's all that great. Plus, his contract devalues him as well...So all in all I think he's appropriately rated.

come on man, he's overpaid because who else we going find for a decent prize? He improved last season and is a pretty decent center.
Dude, I was agreeing with you.

no Center is really all that great imo

Okay, how about a player who has never earned an All-Star appearance?
Sure.
The author of that article went to great lengths to try and diminish Gay's importance to the Grizz.
Is he overpaid? Sure.
Memphis is a terrible place for him anyway and he will benefit by leaving there.. Randolph, Gasol, Mayo, Conley all loved to shoot the ball (as did Gay). They were all unsuccessful in playing off each other.
Even still, Gay is 25. He can alter his game to fit with a new team and have success IMO.

I think there are a lack of great or even good true centers in the NBA right now. But that makes the really good centers really good and really valuable. Howard and Bynum are at the top, but I think Hibbert will be the next dominant big man in the NBA over the next five years or so.

LOL at you linking an Examiner article. I think that "columnist" made $.23 writing that article.

And would you like to refute any of the strong points made in the article? He actually has a statistical basis for his arguments, unlike you.

Put Gordon in that pic and you got championships....

I'm just a little weary. I think Rivers is JJ Reddick.

That's his floor. What's his ceiling? Can he play the point?
No question Monty loves him...

Wary or leary. I used to do it, too.

What, you don't think I am tired of the Rivers stuff? No, you got me, I meant leary. I was weary after a day at work.

That's my thing with Rivers, if he can play the point, I think he becomes a really good player and a great pick if we can get him at 10.

If he can play the point is a big if. If not, we have a glut of SGs that all need minutes. Now we can play Xavier more at the 3 but then you have Aminu...
