good thing about being 29th in league is that you don't need a replacement.

So, if a coach cannot do his job, do you just keep him and make excuses? The only other option is to get rid of the players, but you said management does not want to do so. So, sounds like some pretty incompetent management if the answer is to stick with what is not working.

this is just a weird reply

1) you can't make chicken salad out of chicken shite

2) the Pels had a top 10 defense last year with the same coaches. they just forgot how to coach defense in one summer?

It's hard to argue with what the offense is doing lately. I know the shooting is unsustainably hot, but they are getting good looks, moving off ball and making the extra pass which hopefully will keep happening even after Moore/Holiday come back down to earth.

Check out the shot chart from last night. We are looking very Warriors/Rockets like with the VAST majority of our points coming from beyond the line or directly under the basket. Giannis looked awesome, but our offense looked so much better than the Bucks. We generate a ton of open looks on efficient shots if we play like last night. So even when Moore/Miller cool off (Jrue is still under his career 3pt %), we should still be good offensively as long as we can get a little better handle on the turnovers. Hopefully they continue to buy into the movement and take this momentum into Denver.

Most of the complaints are non specific/not scheme related. People want a magic man that can say the right words to make dumb players smart and selfish players sacrifice. I thought Thibs was that kind of coach but look at the just as bad as ours defense in Minnesota with significantly more defensive talent.

If you're going to bring in a new coach in theory it's because you want to do things differently. Well what specifically do dissatisfied fans want done differently?

The main specific complaints I've seen posters or bloggers make are matchup issues like Why was Jrue on Player A instead of Player B? Or Why was Nelson in instead of your defensive stopper Tony Allen. I've also seen complaints about Cousins not showing on shooters, but one of the plays people complained about a few weeks ago where Cousins gave up a wide open 20 footer, if he had gone out to the shooter it would have left a big free to rim run and the only person to stop him would have been a 6'4 guard rotating over, most likely late enough to give him an And 1. So even some of the specific scheme complaints don't seem like changing strategy to what the fans think is better would necessarily lead to better results.

This team has already exceeded the national media's expectations and if they stay above .500 are on track to exceed the Vegas odds makers who had the over under at 39.5 at the end of August. They also are just 1.5 games away from being the 4 seed. By every measure I'd say this team has exceeded expectations yet some fans think they aren't doing it right so we need to fire everybody now.

And that wasn't all aimed at you NOSHAU, but I find the quality of the coaching complaints this season to be pretty lacking and poorly thought out. I'd love it if there were a case to be made to Loomis about why he should be looking for an upgrade after making the playoffs again. But the Pels "disappointing" fans by only being a 7-8 seed probably will not be enough to get Loomis to go through the effort of a coach and GM search.
