Previous reports suggested that number was around $10 million of his $22.7 million salary, and it was based on incentives that seemed impossible to reach. However, according to Michael Lee, Lewis' buyout number will actually be around $13.7 million due to incentives he hit while with the Orlando Magic.

This may be the first of two moves. I'm 99% sure we can trade Lewis at any point for another player(s) so long as nothing else is packaged with him. Otherwise, we have to wait 60 days.
Interesting if this is true. I really thought we could fight for a playoff spot this season, but probably not after this. Obviously, the upside is that we'll have a shitload of money to spend next year with no Oak/Ariza and maybe no JJ.
