How are you going to use that argument out of one side of your mouth and then get mad at me for saying Zion needs to be better offensively than last game out of the other side?

I think the board in general should reset individual expectations for this season/team. Pels (Front office, Coaches, and Fans) have put so much on BI and Zion building this iteration of the team. They were charged with leadership, scoring, and playmaking responsibilities surrounded by modest talent. That is not the case any longer, DJ, CJ, TM3, and Herb are miles ahead, in terms of talent, than at the beginning of this regime ... Sato\Temple backcourt anyone?

I think Zion's past game showed this. He didn't have the dominant box score but was dominating. His 11 boards and ball distribution (particularly getting Hawk going) were HUGE for the team. He and BI no longer have to pull a rabbit out of their hat every game to be competitive, but they can still be dominant. When DJ and TM3 get back, Pels will be one of the top teams in terms of starter talent. And yes, there will be games when Zion/BI get on a heater and are just the best players on the floor, but how the team meshes is vastly more important than expecting Husky and Slim to carry the whole load all the time.

This is not good news for the 2K crowd who evaluate pro hoops based on individual box scores and highlights, but it shows development and growth for this team and its aspirations. NBA, and particularly the West is loaded and we still get comments arguing for "addition by subtraction" .... Nah Fam, Pels need to best use the talent they have to have a prayer of competing for championships. Pels seem to understand this, the board should get on board also.
