Great hire. He was my top hope for our new coach but Dumars hiring outside his good ol boy network wasn’t happening.

Allegedly its a ONE year deal with 2 team options
I have never heard of an NBA HC deal like that before in my life, I can't believe anyone agreed to that

Yup, their new owner said last year he won’t give out coaching contracts that’s more than one year deals and won’t pay more than 2 million a year

He’s so cheap he made everyone that wasn’t a player checkout of their hotel on the road so he didn’t have to pay for late checkout. Thats some serious cheapness even we don’t have to deal with…..yet…..

He's 52. The opportunities will be harder to come by as he continues to age. NBA teams tend to gravitate towards retreads, young up and coming assistants, or hot college coaches.

Yeah, I just heard that on the radio on the way home. I've never heard of 1 yr with 2 team options.
