Trey has had every opportunity to take that. He hasn't.
Barring foul trouble, Trey will play 30+ minutes. Barring foul trouble, CJ will play 30+ minutes. So not a really big deal. I’m always amazed why fans fixate so much on who starts. Who closes is more important. I get it could be important to the player, just don’t get why fans fixate so much on it. .

Can’t wait to go from a potential top 5 pick to now getting the 11th pick. Thanks Griff
What the frick are you talking about? You want him to force players to sit out? You want him to force Green to not play certain guys?

It’s the frustration of the no win situation we are now in.
Genuinely could have made massive noise this season.
Within a couple of months the season is over. We aren’t getting in the playoffs so the only thing to look forward to is a top pick…. And when we’re healthy, we’ll win enough to chase 10th and miss out on everything.
Its #PelsLife… book it

Booker is a Pels killer always. Hopefully we can hold him under 50 and win one finally.

While that is usually the case, moving CJ to the 6th man would balance out the lineup more and add another long wing body for defensive purposes.
CJ would see more time against bench players and can operate as more of an on-ball creator. As a starter, he's playing 3rd fiddle to Murray and BI.
Also, at this point in his career, CJ shouldn't be playing 30+ mins. Ideally, 20-25 per night would be great as we've seen his body breakdown post Allstars break the past two seasons.

That’s not an option when you still have three rotation players injured. Whether he starts or not.

I used to think this, but neither CJ nor Trey are very good defenders, so I honestly don't think there's much difference.

Trey is generally good at the 4 especially as a help defender. Not good enough hips to guard 2s. CJ is not a problem until playoffs time. But we haven't had enough of a sample size to see if Herb and DJ with Missi's rim protection can cover his weaknesses and hide him a bit more.
