i would agree. i don't know what the hell that means. 35 year olds aren't the ones starting for Team USA.

Is Brandon Ingram starting for team USA? Yes.
Are most of the guys on that level (LeBron and Durant) older than him? Yes. Tatum is probably the only other SF that would start for team USA.

Congrats.

You respond to me when I want you to. I take it easy on you because you’re very fragile, defensive even about your terrible posts, that you routinely double down on.
Yep and I will keep doing it that way.
Do you really think I'm fragile? There is nothing on here I take remotely personal. I'll argue and debate 50 to 1, don't care about name calling or a 100+ down votes. None of that bothers me. I kind of like it. The back and forth is great.
I'm just not getting banned for being a part of a conversation where you are casually throwing out hate speech/terms. I don't want to be associated with any of that. That's always been why I avoid you when you start spinning out.
quote:
That you attempt to back the counter argument into “100% certainty” when you are making the claim he is out of the league with the “numbers being on your side” despite no hard explanation on why he would is a bad faith argument
I've explained over and over. People just don't want to see it. Not my fault.
quote:
Meh, I don’t spend my time on this board shitting on players (for the most part)…
And there we go. This is not or has never been an indictment or attack on Ingram. Calling someone injury prone is not an attack.

Seriously. A quick misspelled meme or bad faith out of context video can get the internet riled up and all of a sudden you’re over 100k views or clicks. Use your talent of not understanding basketball, then pretending that you do, to get a little extra cash. I believe you can do it. I’m rooting for you.
Thanks. I'm literally at like 3 posts a day and I'm old. So probably not going to be a career. But I appreciate the well wishes, as insincere as they appear to be. I'm glad we can leave on good terms.

Tatum is one. Who else?

Clearly.

You haven’t done anything to even approach a quality argument.

What hate speech have I used? How are you defining hate speech? If I throw out hate speech why am I not banned?
I popped in this thread and saw the gang bang going on and wanted show some support at first, but you wanted 51 to 1 instead of your normal appetite of 50 guys.

It is sincere as your post claiming ingram is regressing and will be retired by 30.
I am glad you are positive. But we aren’t leaving, are we?

So is this the full court press? Who else would you have starting over BI for Team USA?

There was a game involving Team USA last night. A basketball game. In a basketball game, 5 guys start. That basketball game last night, 5 guys started. Wanna guess how many were 35 year olds? Go for it, take a guess.
You had no clue Team USA played a game last night and started 5 guys but are ranting about your basketball IQ, that's hilarious.

You took a blood oath to give me the full court press from now until the end of time…on a thread you had tanked. So I was asking you, Is this the (your)full court press?

You realize I’m saying 35 year olds don’t start for Team USA right? But in a hypothetical were the best of the best play-that LeBron and Durant over him, right? There are maybe 2 others American wings who would start over Ingram.
Maybe slow down and comprehend.
Sometimes the full court press gets a team burned.

5 dudes started a game last night. None were 35. But according to you, BI is the only non 35 year old who could do that, not the other 4 that did that just 12 hours ago...while you talk up your basketball IQ
The dude brmark who you love to say doesn't know hoops even correctly pointed out how dumb that statement was, and that obviously got under your skin, and now here you are going off instead of just admitting you did not realize Team USA played a game last night in which 5 non 35 year old dudes started. Would be real easy to just admit the obvious but you'll continue to dig and make yourself look foolish.

Kawhi, Tatum, and Jimmy Butler are no brainers. Booker, Edwards, Jaylen Brown, Paul George, and Donovan Mitchell would probably get the nod over Ingram. And an argument could be made for Lavine or Mikal Bridges.

It’s not crawfishing, it’s your lack of understanding.
That is the most ridiculous comprehension of what I posted.
I never said 35 year olds start for team USA, the implication being 35 year old Durant and LeBron would be the first choices of Team USA in a hypothetical.

Half of those aren’t wings. Paul George had a career altering injury playing for team USA so he’s out. Kawhi Leonard is never healthy enough to play in the summer. Jaylen Brown no, but I can see some people going for him. As for Jimmy Butler, maybe I think Ingram is a better passer than he is.
ETA: Bridges is a coin flip, I’ll give you that.

At 25 he is going to be starting for Team USA. Most of the other guys on that level are 10 years older than him.
It's obvious you had zero clue who started for Team USA last night, you told us that with those lines. It's weird you'd try to crawfish out of it instead of just admitting you thought BI was the only young starter and was wrong.

Jesus Christ shel the implication was wing players in the nba. Ingrams position. Hence why another post to respond with a list of wings. This is you being obtuse.

Now all these people come back at me saying I'm wrong. That's means he will definitely be in the league after he's 30. So that's just as bold of a belief.
It’s actually not. BI has 2 more years under his current deal, it’s very likely that he signs a 4 or 5 year deal after those 2 years (barring a career ending injury in the next 2 seasons). So that means it’s very unlikely that he is out of the league before the age of 32 or 33. You are essentially betting that it’s more likely than not that BI suffers a career ending injury in the next 2 seasons

Your blood thirst has you jumping out of the pocket. We are talking 2023 Team USA. There are 2-3 guys who would start for Team USA in 2023 ahead of Brandon and those guys are mostly 10 years older than him.
Brandon was also coming off the major healthy scare, if memory serves me correctly. That 2019 team also finished 7th , so one could say their starters weren’t great, probably lesser players than Brandon Ingram in 2023.
Your argument is very weak.
How many other American wings are starting over Brandon in 2023? Since you’ve dodged the question I asked before.
Fair warning: I won’t check back for your replies until 7pm CST at the earliest. But I will respond to you reply. Family first.

Why didn't you answer the question I asked? I'll answer for you.
The USA starting SF in 2019's Final round of FIBA was Joe Harris. Joe Harris, yea, that guy.
You thought this was the holy grail of Team USA spots, not realizing FIBA ain't that. It's ok, you can admit that.
You went out of your way to pretend and credit BI was the only person on THIS team doing something the entire starting 5 is also doing.
