Not saying we should make this move now but I feel like BI should be a SG and we get a guy that has the strength to handle the Lebrons and Kawhis of the world. He will be a bigger mismatch at 2 and we have more switch defense flexibility. I would make this move once Hayes becomes average defensively. Zo, Bi, insert SF, Zion, Hayes

Griff hinted at that idea happening a couple months ago. Guess we’ll see if that’s what they’ll do

The Pels just drafted the PG of the future 2 nights ago. Either Lonzo is that SF or he won't be here long term.

I actually like this idea. He looks like he added some muscle and he has the frame to add 5-10 more pounds without it slowing him down. He would be the 1 on offense and a 3 on defense. We should at least explore lineups like this as a possibility. Plus with SVG saying he likes how OKC ran 3 pgs in crunch time.

I don’t see Lonzo guarding wings. He’s not the most physical player in the world. Like at all. Feel like the idea would fail quickly. Unless he’s going up against softer wings

I mean softer wings. I would have him guarding Lebron. I’m taking about a lineup we can use/try. He was able to handle Hardens strength a few times so I think there is a chance he can

BI at 2 means you bring in a big defensive wing. Zion will play some three also.

TeddyPadillac suggested it months before Griff did.

There are no big defensive wings available. It is the hardest position to fill in the league. You want to take arguably a top 5 SF and move him to SG where he might be top 10. Then replace him with a guy thats not even top 20 at the position. SG is the easiest position in the league to fill. We have 6 guys that would put respectable numbers there. This doesn't make sense to me. Leave Ingram there, let him ascend..

Crowder may be available, also one of the Hawks Hunter or Reddish. BI has the ball-skill to play the 2 and presents a mismatch in transition and in half-court post-ups.
