Trey just because he can shoot at his length.

Dyson's offensive game is a massive work in progress.

I don't think either will be stars though.

Depends on what you think is easier to fix.

Trey's defense and handle or Dyson's shot, ability to finish.

He's only 19, but I do get a little Lonzo//Austin Rivers/Ben Simmons-type concern with Dyson's lack of aggressiveness on offense and inability to finish or refusal to take contact at the rim.

He seems like a quality kid so I'm not that concerned.

Trey is also high character. He just needs to continue his upward trajectory. He improved driving this year. Now focus on D and dribbling.

Define star? If you mean an All Star caliber player I'd say Trey because it's easier be an All Star caliber player with your skill set skewed towards offense than it is defense.

Both need to get better on their weaker side of the ball, and I think both will. But because Trey has a pretty good offensive skill set already that will only get better, Trey will be recognized as a star before Dyson.

I think this is the wrong question though. Which one of the 2 can play center, at least small ball 5. If either one can, that helps things so much because I expect both to be long term starters next to Zion. If you can find a way to add a shooter instead of a center to the mix because Dyson or Trey get big and strong enough to man the middle, this team's ceiling gets higher.

With Willie as their coach?
Neither.

On any other franchise.
Both.

Im starting to get those concerns too and i was a huge dyson fan at the draft. He avoids scoring like the plague. He's gotta nut up and try to score or we're playing 4v5 on offense

I think what concerns me most about his offense isn't even his shooting. It's that he doesn't attack the rim with aggression at all. Pretty much all of his finishes are finger rolls, which is ridiculous for a guy his size. It's insane how timid he is.

baby.

needs to play in my 5th grade New Jersey league. get knocked around some.

i felt the same about Simmons. somehow these two aussies seemed to miss out on the tough stuff when they are 10 to 14 or 15. no whistle. if you make you take.
i feel like the coaches could set that up.
imagine Riley coaching Daniels.
