Anything less than 2-0 over these next 2 games, warrants someone being fired

2 games against 2 teams that are in the bottom 4 of the NBA. These are lottery teams on our home floor.

2-0 will put you at 36-37 with the Thunder having 2 games against the Clipper, mavs playing warriors, blazers playing the Jazz. We would likely be within 1 game of the 6 seed yet still

Think as long as we make the play in everyone will be safe. Don’t think Gayle makes any moves even if we miss out. Their seats are getting warmer but Willie and Griff both have gained some slack after how good last year was as well as the start of the season.

This collapse sucks, but Willie is learning through this process how he has to maximize his team’s skills at the expense of personal predetermined philosophies.

Hate to break it to you, but the Spurs are healthy and playing better basketball than the Pelicans right now.

Similar to the Rockets. We are essentially on the same level as tanking teams right now, bc we got worse throughout the year, while other teams got better.

Pelicans are playing like a bottom 3 team in the entire NBA right now.

Spurs have lost 17 of 18 on the road, so they got us right where they want us

I guess word of this hasn't gotten to Vegas yet. Those idiots have us favored by 14 points!

I haven’t really checked the lineups. It’s possible the Spurs are sitting some guys tonight. Vassell, Keldon Johnson, Sochan all are key players they seem to load manage quite a bit.

So perhaps we will get a freebie.

Last 6 game breakdown.

1) Beat the full strength Nuggets.
2) Played a respectable game against a good OKC Team
3) Beat the shite out of a Magic team that just skullfricked us in the SKC
4) Blew a game late and lost to the Mavs in OT (no Luka or Kyrie)
5) Had a 29 Point lead against Memphis, including a 9 point lead in the last minute. Lost in OT.
6) Came back from down 24 and beat the full strength Hawks. Held Trae Young to 9 points and 6 assists.

I anticipate a true Dog fight with these guys if they actually play their best available players.

Upon review, it looks like the Spurs are trying to lose this game. Best player on their squad suiting up is Branham. He’s a guy that can drop 20-25 points, but they won’t have enough firepower to win tonight.

If "running out to big leads only to blow them in the 4th" is the metric of 'playing well, then the Pels have had a great season!
