The NBA 2k games are the best sports games there is, and this is coming from a huge football fan (best football game ever made is also 2k and that's ESPN NFL 2k5, but I digress). I have 2k11 and 2k12, and both games took away a lot of sleep.
The biggest draw for me with the game is the My Player mode. I get so addicted to it. Setting the game with full length quarters makes it pretty damn realistic as well.

If the quarters are at full length, my stats are not realistic at all. I should probably go to the higher difficulty level but then I would really suck when I start out
