Did he really shoot the bird at a Pelican fan when he was with the Pelicans? Like his final game or something like that? Just curious how that story went . Was it the same night he wore the”That’s all folks” shirt? I guess he won’t get that tribute video.

AD is a douchebag but I can’t hate on him too hard because he at least got us a great return for trading him.

Most of the stars just up and leave and screw their former team.

Not that he meant to help us out, but it did play out fairly well for us.

Just off the top of my head, the AD trade netted Ingram, CJ, Herb Jones, Dyson, and 2 first round picks from the lakers in 23 and 24. There’s other players and one more draft pick in 23 or 24 I think.

Could have been nastier considering we traded our 4th pick that could have landed Darius Garland or Jordan Poole. What a team that could have been.

Forget all that, he handicapped his trade market by saying he would only re-sign with the lakers. The lakers just happen to still give a lot for him

Griffin 100% blew many of the resources he was gifted upon his arrival in NOLA.

Compare our roster and draft capital before Griff and now.

To start, right up front with Zion + AD trade = wasted #4 pick, 2 1st rounders, Ball, BI and Hart. Then Jrue trade.
Where is the great roster?

Have you only been a fan for a few years, because we are in insanely better shape than when he got here. This team was #1 in the conference before injuries, so he definitely gave us a winning roster.

Yea if he wasn’t lebrons lil bitch, we could have Tatum and Brown right now instead of all the oft injured Lakers players we ended up with.

Have you just started being a fan? Griff was gifted the number one pick in a draft with two generational talents. And two all stars already on the roster to trade, one viewed as a top 10ish player in the league and the best at his position at the time. And no horrible contracts on the books to hamstring him.

And we have yet to have a winning season under him.
