You seriously think the corpse of D-Rose is in the Knicks long-term plans, so much so that they'll pass on Ball to hand Rose the keys to the team for the next 10+ years.

Righto

Who is handing Lonzo ball the keys to the team?

I just can't see us giving Lonzo and Hart more than 35 mil combined. So that would be around 20 mil and 15 mil. Both contracts are at a combined 15 mil right now. So the 9 mil we save on Adams and letting JJ walk will free up that 20 mil.

After that we have Bledsoe with 17 mil and NAW, Hayes, Melli with a total of 12.5 mil.

So we can give Lonzo and Hart very good deals and still free up around 30 mil (if we can trade Bledsoe).

I say keep NAW, get a backup PG, and get a 3&D wing. I'd rather a 3&D wing and slide Hart to SG for a larger lineup > adding another SG and Hart playing SF.

I think you can gauge his value similar to Porzingis, getting two first round picks back. The Knicks also got Dennis Smith Jr, who in his 2nd year was still looking pretty good, so you can really say his value was 3 1sts.

Did Lavar Ball steal your password?

Of course not. But a few weeks ago, I suggested that JJ, Hayes, Lonzo, and 3 first-round picks would be a good trade for Beal, and Lester said that I was on drugs to think that we could get Beal for so little.

Just keep Lonzo. We are never going to get fair value for him in a trade and letting him walk for any price is beyond stupid. What are you saving the cap space for? Not a chance in hell any player as good as Lonzo is going to sign here in free agency. Worst case scenario he can just be thrown into some future trade for a disgruntled star to match salary
