Do teams normally keep 15 players on the roster? Or do they leave a spot.

Thanks for the welcome y'all. Appreciate it!

And also for setting me straight on the player charge. I never actually knew about that rule. Makes sense, because the alternative creates a pretty big loophole, heh.

Definitely very curious. I know you weren't terribly thrilled with that pick and I'm looking forward to hearing your (obviously very early) thoughts.

Yep, not enamored of the pick (I'll write more on that this week), but I'm also willing to give him as much time and as he needs. Thought we saw the good and the bad tonight - tons of settling for ill-advised shots as well as great foul drawing and driving ability.

Should be a fun week to see how he responds - based on the substitution patterns and James Borrego's post-game quotes, I think the Hornets will be monitoring shot selection very closely.

Agreed. Fortunately, the ill-advised shots are a decision making thing that I believe (or strongly hope) Monty can control. The foul drawing and driving ability are something great to see that he is already good at. Now if he can work on his court vision and fin the open men on the perimeter or underneath the basket when defenders begin to collapse on him, he'll be in business.

Didn't see those quotes. But that is good to hear. Sounds like they are aware and looking to help him transition.

One of my many complaints about the TP coverage is that they have shifted to posting video rather than writing articles in many instances. The video is nice but give us a transcript too. Here is Borrego talking about Rivers LINK

He basically said 8 3s was too many and he needs to learn not to settle for bad shots.
