I'm sure they worked with external PTs, but it seems crazy to me that at least one of the training staff that gives players treatments wasn't a PT. You're paying over $100 million a year for 18 humans to be in peak physical condition. An in house PT seems as necessary as an in house doctor.

Willie says they need to be more confident taking catch and shoot 3s, and they need to run way more and get teams on their heels

What's with all the chatter about CJ being in such good shape. Is that aimed at Zion/BI, or do they think CJ is going to have a big year?

I will say I was impressed by his defense last year (based on very low expectations). It reminded me a bit of E'Tuwan Moore, in that he's not a lock down defender, and the defensive stats don't say he's a good defender, but he made a lot more plays than I expected by being active and in the right place at the right time.

Griff with an all time spin even for him:

I thank Gayle Benson for giving us the amazing opportunity for keeping continuity

Didn't hear this chatter, but I like it!

Exactly. A lot of people had preconceived notions and just kept parroting how bad he is. In fact, just a few days ago a poster was talking about how "terrible" he was defensively.

That just wasn't the case. He was passable, average or slightly below avg even. But he was not a terrible defender last season.

The constant CJ praise feels a bit like the constant Jrue praise year 1 of Griff

What else are they saying?

if it's just CJ is in great shape, that seems different. But I'm not watching, so not sure if they're going on and on about CJ like they did with Jrue and the MVP talk or whatever it was.
