Not rereading the list but sorry guys like George Harrison, Mark Knopfler, Stephen Stills, Angus Young & Jack White, etc...are not technically brilliant or played complex riffs.

hendrix, followed by some combination of allman (that'd be DUANE), paige, clapton, beck, and a few others ... but i don't think very many actual guitarists will place anyone above hendrix ...
