I think she believes she is an artistic genius and has just lived most of her life in some weird bubble where no one has told her differently out of respect for Lennon.
Just look at the video I posted. She gets on a microphone and just screams for two minutes and people clap and praise it. Those people know she is ridiculous but enable her by putting on that what she is doing is great.
