Anyone plan on being at the show?
Not much into the style of music anymore, but its hard to say the man is not a master of his craft. I'm pretty sure the crowd will be full of fellow guitarists

I saw him at memphis in may a few weeks ago, dude shreds but it gave me a headache.

Saw him in Anaheim last year. shite gets old quick, but it was entertaining! His leather pants were worth the price of admission...oh wait I got in free

Big fan of his since Steeler, and on thru Alcatrazz and his solo stuff. Never seen him live, but I can imagine his playing/soloing might get old since his songs aren't as strong as they were in the early years. My favorite Malmsteen shredding video:

Same here. I do admit his stuff gets old, but I have collected all his albums, thanks to the magic of torrents, and he's still got some really really great stuff.
But nothing to me beats Rising Force and Marching Out.
Far Beyond the Sun and Black Star and my favorite song...Icarus' Dream Suite.
Classic greatness.

But I'll also add Trilogy to that list. There's some solid songwriting on that album.
