Anything modeled after SRV on guitar is gonna be awesome. That riff is Mike Mcready worshipping at the temple of Stevie, and later Hendrix in live shows. He morphs that solo into many other things.
Vedder enunciates more now when live. But changes the lyrics between 3 or more different type things. I wonder if this was a running joke of the time? Between bands or vocalists. Vedder had this and Cornell had Birth Ritual off of Singles which is heavier but awesome. Other than the word "ritual" I can't make out one damned thing he says. And the bands but those lyrics over a couple of the best guitar riffs they ever did. Ledbetter being iconic now. Birth Ritual is not iconic, but it makes me feel 20. I want to mosh, drink an 18 pack, or work out like a beast when I hear it. Maybe all 3. Which would clear the hell out of a 24 Hour Fitness.

Can You Quack by The GOAT and Your Mom is easily the best song of all time.

Hate it. That song signaled the beginning of the end of my interest in Pearl Jam.
They were supposed to be some big pillar of the alt-rock movement but there really wasn't much "alternative" about them to me, particularly at that time. That song was just a little Hendrix-derived guitar noodle and lazy mush-mouthed vocals; sounded tossed off. And the worst part was the affected preciousness of it. Bleh!

It's a great song. Greatest ever? Nah

The misheard lyrics video actually works for this song.
yes, one of the alltime greats.
The song would be good if not for Vedder. It's mostly just a Little Wing ripoff with lousy singing.
Pearl Jam sucks.

The more recent live versions, IIRC "live in Oklahoma City" 2003 version is better than the album version IMO
