Willie Nelson - The Border

Just saw him at the Luck Reunion. He's about to turn 91 and it just blows me away that he's able to still put on a great show. Does he sound as good as he did in his prime? Of course not, but for his age, his voice sounds exceptional and he is still playing lead guitar in the majority of the songs.

As far as the new song goes...I like it.

Well……..he is 91 years old. If I can still get the spoon to my face at that age I’ll be happy. Much less, still touring the country and making music.

It is a good song and Willie does a good cover, but let's give credit where it is due.

Rodney Crowell wrote the song in 2019 and his original version of it is better IMHO.
