That “You Wreck Me” weekend opener in Milwookie was the most energy I’ve seen at a show in a long time... thought the top was going to blow off tRiverside. There’s a pretty good video of it on YouTube that has decent audio quality.

Yeah, last time I saw was when George was playing with them. I respected them for wanting to keep the train rolling, but what I witnessed on that stage that night was just sad. The handful of shows with Jimmy I've listened to just aren't that good to me either. Jimmy sounded good, the rest left a lot to be desired.

Got plans that weekend so won't be going to those BJCC shows either.

Damn. Just checked Ticketmaster and plenty of tickets still available for both nights. Never would have guessed they'd struggle to sell out weekend shows in Bham.

Only about 14 years too late baw. That band now is a shadow of itself and an embarrassment to it's origins.

Idk man- 5 years ago you might have a decent argument, but the past 2 years have been a great panic run and the best energy I've experienced in my 16 years or so following the band.

Stoked for the Wilmington Run this weekend- I caught the 2 night Charleston run in May and the boys were dialed in.

Alot of good bust outs as well that haven't been played since Mikey Died- Waker, Sand Box, etc

Stoked for the new album

I caught Brandon and Red Rocks this year. I had a great time but I am also taking a break from the boys for a bit. I’ll catch them for some southern shows but the fan base of the western shows are a bit much for me.

Just don't call them a jam band. They don't jam.

Hard to believe I haven’t seen them in over 10 years. At one time they were my favorite band. It kinda ended for me when Mike died. I was a regular on the EZ board back in the day

I've done a couple Red Rocks runs but once you get into the Midwest/West the demographic of 70% fratty dudes 30% wooks reverses

I’ve seen them about 150 times. Stopped seeing them as much after Mikey. Seen them a few times with George and Jammy. While it’s good to go and hear them every once and while, it’s obviously not the same.

They filled a void in the 90's when the Dead scene started going into the crapper. It was nice to see a band without all of the security, DEA agents, and insanity of a Dead show, so they inherited a lot of fans, especially after Jerry died. But they never really occupied their space beyond that.

I will say, some of the early HORDE tours were a ton of fun AF.

I went to my first show a few years ago at lakefront as well. I actually liked them.
