Really? I feel like they get mentioned pretty consistently whenever there is a thread about TX country.

It's just the music. I have some friends that love them though. The seem to put on a good show for the people who are into them

I get it. I've seen them a bunch and I've always enjoyed myself, but they're actually not a band that I take off work and make special arrangements to be present for, like Turnpike or Randy.

Actually, with the exception of one girl, no strangers approached us at all until we went to the bar later (but Ev was there too and he seems to get a little more attention, being the lead singer and all)...I actually mentioned to RC how surprised I was that nobody was coming up to him...usually they are surrounded.
I did talk to a guy in an LSU hat before the show and two guys upstairs during, just wasn't sure if you were one of those. Next time come say hi!

Reckless Kelly is awesome. Weatherbeaten Soul is one of my favorite TX songs currently.

i thought i read on here a while back that the were doing a show at the varsity in late july. but looking at their site, its not there. something might have happened. L boogie will know

July 25 at The Varsity. The website has been under some maintenance but that show is still on. It is their first ever LA show and they are really excited! You all better IRL me :)

I like them a lot and think they are one of the most talented groups of the Texas scene. They 4 or 5 times I saw them, they put in great shows.
