Man, I feel old reading this thread. I remember this same scene from back in the early 90's. It was shitty then and it's shitty now.

As a personal preference, I really don't like music with any kind of electronic, synthesizer feel to it.

I've been there many times, it is not a pleasant experience

Strong hate OP. I have been to many EDM festivals and never once seen a fight, over 100k people having the time of their life listening to music that puts you into a state of trance. I'm listening to Arty right now as I type this.
