The dude hates the eagles due to a form of self loathing. The eagles lyrics are exactly like him, i.e. Peaceful easy feeling, take it easy, etc.

Whats your problem with them? The groups BMI is too low? Not enough insulin pumps per member?

Their music is boring and have paved their way to success through corporate mass marketing. They haven't done anything new yet they still tour non-stop playing boring music at an extremely overpriced ticket. They are the face of sellout musicians.

They've made some good songs but they are not worth what they are made out to be.

I don't particularly care for the Eagles, nor do I like Henley's voice, but his song "Dirty Laundry" is a friggin' heater.

Oh I get that. I was just supporting the fact that their solo work is better than anything the Eagles every did

Eagles are cheese, but im sure when they were getting loaded it was a good show. Probably no more. Don't care for the peaceful easy feeling crap. And I get a sense they take themselves waaaaaaay too seriously. Kinda Like some phish phans I've met.

I hate the Eagles and the Olive Garden. But I did it before it was cool.

. Don Henley and Glenn Frey are much better singers than Chad Kroeger and the Eagles songs aren't just about sex and cookie cutter lyrics like Nickelback.

Glenn Frey went on to make 'The Heat is On.' How does he sleep at night?

He hates them because they are the epitome of California corporate blandness. He's a counterculture guy, and his loyalties are with the more "authentic" Creedence, not with a bunch of careerists. It's an earlier version of prefering Nirvana to Pearl Jam. It's a cultural signifier.
