Who has put out the most good music in the last 5 years

Do the playlist test. Take any band/artist and ask: "how deep on a playlist could I go with the stuff they've put out over the last five years"?
Whichever band/artist gives you the deepest playlist wins.
I have to give the nod to B.o.B. Dude has an advantage in that he has just been absurdly prolific in the last five years.* He has put out eight mixtapes and two albums. By my count, this comes out to 217 tracks. Some of these tracks, as it goes with mixtapes, are pure garbage. But B.o.B has put out surprisingly quality stuff on his mixtapes. In a lot of ways his mixtape stuff is better than his album stuff.
I'm giving second place to Passion Pit. They have a much better shooting percentage than B.o.B, but they just haven't taken enough shots.
Bottom line: I can go a bit deeper on the playlist with my boy B.o.B, so I have to give him the nod.

I will give a shout out to Curren$y. He has been grinding the last 5 years. Countless mixtapes and multiple albums in one year. I know if you are not into hip hop then you will probably disagree and that is fair enough but Curren$y has not only a staggering amount of quantity when it comes to his music but the quality is there too.

Can you define deepest? Best tracks or just most tracks?

Omar Rodriguez Lopez. If you include The Mars Volta, he's put out nearly 30 albums in the past 5 years. He may not be your taste in music, but damn that's an accomplishment in itself. What's interesting is that his catalog spans several genres of music.

James Mercer for my taste.
2 Shins albums, and a really good Broken Bells album.

Most best tracks. You're only gonna put songs you dig on a playlist, yes?

Have never listened. And didn't know this was James Mercer. How are they?

It's James Mercer and Danger Mouse, and I thought it was a great album.

Yeah if you like James Mercer, you need to listen to Broken Bells. It's a collab between him and Danger Mouse. Solid album.

Neko Case. If I can add her solo work to the New Pornographers, she's probably the person who has the deepest roster of great songs in the past five years.

You have my vote so far.

Additionally, Neko is on my approved List of Five with Mrs. Baloo.

His first several mixtapes were hit and miss. But every mixtape including and after B.o.B vs. Bobby Ray has been solid and arguably better than his albums.
