If I recall, there's a few places downtown (around the capital bldg) that only allow original music to be played.

We play 95% covers and work in the originals at the right times. But one of the originals is getting local radio play so that helps I think.

We have an upcoming show on February 20th at 524 Studios and the promoter is still looking for opening acts. I can take a look at your stuff and possibly pass it on to him.

This is a paid gig with a share of ticket sales. You will be required to sell at least 10 tickets.

I emailed Kingbob and he said we are old as frick and we need to practice until we die if we wanted to ever be good enough to play in public.

I pretty much agree with all of that.

Huey’s used to do one on Tuesdays, but no longer.
Kenny Neal’s and that blues joint up in Zachary have one on Wednesday.
Phil Brady’s is on thursdays
LaDivina is on Friday’s
Fat Cats and the Blues Room on Sundays
