Slobberbone is the writer Stephen Kings favorite band.

Hard Quartet is Stephen Malkmus (Pavement)

Fontaines DC is a great young Irish band that channel a lot of 80s alternative bands

MJ Lenderman, underrated guitarist. Liked his collaborations with Katie Crutchfield and others. I’ve always been a fan of that Indie & Southern Rock lite coming from the Asheville/Appalachia/Virginia music scene.
