Many people on this board, myself included have suggested that you check out the history of hip hop. Your ignorance and arrogance prevent you from doing such.
Yes, i think hip hop peaked in the mid to late 90s, yet i still listen to current hip hop and get excited for new releases.
I have no problems with other peoples opinions, im very open minded when it comes to music. Your only opinion is that drake is the first name greatest last name ever, now if you could actually contribute to threads and be objective without drakes dick in your mouth, maybe your opinion would be valid. I just dont see that happening anytime soon.
Again, you're always right and they rest of us are just old backpackers living in the past.

My hip hop knowledge is based on the fact that ive been listening to hip hop and going to shows for 20 plus years.
Have you ever even been to a hip hop show? Ive literally been to hundreds and seen some of the greatest mcs ever spit on stage.

Nas will always be one of my favorites not just because of his lyrical ability & content in his music but he is the epitome of every true artist that refused to sellout. When he signed Columbia Records they wanted him to fix his teeth & become this bubble gum, pretty boy rapper. Nas refused & did the music he wanted to do.

Ok let's talk about 50 then, he was a lifelong Gang Starr fan growing up, I'm sure he dabbled in Big L and Rakim as well but his true inspiration came from Guru

My biggest issue with nas has always been his beat choice. Some of his albums and lyrics get over looked because the beats are just terrible.

That's what the problem is with the industry at this point in time. There's entirely too much emphasis on club bangers & hit singles.
A talented artist can take any subject matter & put it over a hot beat that matches the vibe of the subject matter & turn it into a hot song.
Almost every song on radio right now is the same recycled assembly line crap over & over again. There's not much creativity involved at all outside of a few witty punchlines.

Personally, I'm going to slow my roll with him. I don't want to cluster these threads with the b.s anymore. He's an idiot & that won't change.
