Morbid, you ever heard of a rock and roll outfit called "AC/DC"?

Just asking...

the band that "goes both ways"?

but, this says he joined them after the firm.

After the band split, Page and Rodgers returned to solo work while Chris Slade joined AC/DC and Franklin teamed up with guitarist John Sykes in Blue Murder.

I think that's right. In context, I guess that does make sense to credit him that way.

His most high profile gig prior to The Firm or AC/DC was Manfred Mann, he has the main harmony (really more the co-lead) vocal in their biggest (by far) U.S. hit, the cover of Springsteen's Blinded By the Light.

But Slade is almost the Welsh Jeff Porcaro - he shows up on all kinds of records.

As far as newer groups, Monsters of Folk and Middle Brother are both very good.

garage a trois

both incarnations (w/charlie hunter or marco benevento) have made some of the most interesting and original music of the past twenty years. granted, these are not be superstars in a mainstream radio audience sense, but with that caveat, this is the definition of a supergroup.

I dont think Fleetwood Mac counts. My personal favorite was The Faces: faces

although maybe not a technical supergroup. Jeff Beck Group was good too
